The Art Mobile of Montana is an educational art outreachprogram that provides access to high quality, original and contemporary art exhibits and art instruction by a professional
art educator for schools and diverse groups. The only program
of its kind in Montana, this statewide program offers interactive presentations about our annual art exhibits, quality hands-on
art lessons, and teacher education. The Art Mobile program
helps others to understand the importance of the visual arts
and to educate through art about the diversity of the human experience, culture, practices, customs, and history.

Click Here for a Sample News Release PDF Word The Art Mobile of Montana; Art On Wheels This traveling program comes right to your door with a van full of an original exhibit of quality art works. Schools that schedule this service receive an interactive presentation of the art, followed by art lessons. Several fine art lessons are available, taught by a professional art educator with focus on art fundamentals and individual expression. The Art Mobile is available during school hours, after school and evenings. Continuing education for teachers is available while the Art Mobile is on site. Lessons are aligned with the Montana Performance Standards for the Arts. As a non-profit organization, the Art Mobile of Montana is supported in part by the Artist in Schools/Communities Program with a grant from the Montana Arts Council, an agency of state government, and by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts which believes that a great nation deserves great art. Partial funding for this project was provided by Montana's Cultural Trust. Partial funding was provided by the Gallagher Western Montana Charitable Foundation, Inc. and by the Town Pump Charitable Foundation.
