The Art Mobile comes right to your door
bringing an exhibit of
original, high quality, contemporary art work. Schools can schedule
an
interactive presentation followed by art
lessons taught by a professional art
educator.
These lessons focus on art fundamentals and individual expression.
The Art Mobile is available during school hours,
after school, and evenings.
Lessons are aligned with Montana Performance Standards for the Arts and can be integrated
with school curriculum.
The Teaching Artist displays the exhibit on portable walls in a room at
the site. She then delivers an interactive presentation addressing the artwork,
the artists, design and color; and brings the importance of art and connections to life into the discussion. After presentations, hands-on art lessons are available for each class or
group desiring hands-on participation.
We travel our annual exhibit to schools, home
school groups, after school groups and
community
groups during the school year
and will make repeat visits for follow-up art
lessons year round.

Cost:
Thanks to our grantors, we have grant funds that
will help your
group afford a visit. You do not have
to apply for a grant; this has already
been done.
A basic two-hour art mobile visit that includes 1 presentation and
1 art lesson costs $165.00,
including the $55.00 set-up/tear-down fee for the
exhibit. Additional hours run $55.00/hour.
Travel costs are additional,
divided among the
number of sites presented for during one tour.
If the
Teaching Artist is more than a day’s drive
from home, sites offer overnight
housing.

Our Supporters
The Art Mobile (a Non-Profit organization) is supported
in part by a grant from the

project was provided by Montana's Cultural Trust;
also

and the Gallagher Western Charitable Foundation, Inc.
We make every effort
to adapt our program for
everyone and ask our sites to adapt their premises
for ease of
