It was a perfect day to be outside with the Art Mobile. It was a celebration too. This was the last showing of a wonderful exhibit that has been traveling around the state all year. It was set up outside of the Missoula Art Museum and had a great audience all night long. I brought chalk since we were outside and it was a huge hit! I had one family that stopped by three different times, they couldn't resist the opportunity to color and be artists themselves. Artist Stephanie Frostad stopped by and shared her appreciation for the exhibit and opportunity to be a part of it. It was a great night and a fabulous year for the 2014-2015 Montana exhibit. I am very exited to gather the new work for next year's exhibit, that will have it's turn to travel and inspire people around the state.
I sure was glad that I visited The Springs in Missoula. There were so many residents that knew the artists in the exhibit. They were teaching me about the artists and their work! They hadn't seen their work in a while and were very impressed with what I brought. I met some fabulous people that had spent their lives working in the Arts and I couldn't have imagined a better place to be that day.
