The day at the capitol was really special. There were several members from the Art Mobile there to take part in the celebrations and to gain support from our state's legislators. The space that we had to work in was incredible. It was by far the fanciest place I have been with the art mobile thus far, with beautiful stain-glassed and painted ceilings and shiny mosaic tile floors. Several legislators came by to admire the artwork and enjoy a slice of birthday cake. The dress brought a lot of attention too, and had several curious viewers. The Montana Art's Council Education Director, Emily Kohring, stopped by to show her support as well. It was a great birthday party and I felt extremely proud to be involved in the celebration.
