I drove up to Charlo winding through the Jocko valley with a steaming cup of rich, black coffee and mountains floating in mysterious blankets of fog. When I arrived, Sharon Hertz generously welcomed me to her school and quickly started coordinating students to help setup the exhibit. We had a full day with back to back presentations and lessons, so we decided to setup in the gym with a large workspace behind the exhibit.
Our dual setup allowed us to easily check out Jennifer Ogden's collage piece as students were working on their magazine mosaics. With only a short amount of time, students got a quick start on their work and planned to continue developing their pieces throughout the week.
